Tucson Field Office

The GTRI Tucson Field Office provides support for primary customers in the region, while looking for opportunities for teaming with other organizations of similar interest, and is dedicated to leading-edge research and development in the areas of aircraft sensors, avionics, and self-protection system integration and related fields.

The chief focus of Tucson is support of Air Reserve Component (ARC) aircraft engineering and test support at the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center and units at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

GTRI Tucson has decades of experience with the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center. It supports flight test and capability integration in the ARC’s aircraft and combat systems. These include A-10, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35, MC-130, HC-130, LC-130, EC-130, WC-130, C-130H/J, C-5, C-17, HH-60, KC-135, and MQ-9 Ground Control System (GCS); Air Operations Center (AOC), Battle Control Center (BCC), and Control and Reporting Center (CRC); and special warfare, space, and cyber units.

GTRI Tucson location offers several Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE) short courses per year and is willing to work with organizations in the area that desire specific course offerings from the GTPE catalog to be offered locally, as well as willing to coordinate requests for private course offerings in customer locations or our facilities.
