STEM@GTRI brings the expertise from Georgia Tech’s science, technology, engineering and math research faculty to Georgia’s K12 educators, students, and communities. Through our interactive outreach exhibits STEM@GTRI creates awareness of and excitement about education and career opportunities in STEM fields.
Through meaningful partnerships and collaborations, we strive to increase STEM literacy, improve student academic performance in STEM subjects, provide awareness of and encourage students to pursue educational and career opportunities in STEM fields, and provide resources for teachers to strengthen their STEM-related curriculum.
STEM@GTRI customizes professional development experiences for educators, connects students and classrooms to Georgia Tech labs and researchers, and brings hands-on, fun, and relevant programming to STEM outreach events across Georgia. We leverage STEM@GTRI State funding through grants and partnerships to bring additional STEM programming to K12 students in Georgia.
GTRI provides opportunities for students to immerse themselves in STEM fields through internships and outreach.
