GTRI Tucson provides support for primary customers in the region, while looking for opportunities for teaming with other organizations of similar interest, and is are dedicated to leading edge research and development in the areas of aircraft sensor, avionics, and self-protection system integration and related fields.
The chief focus in Tucson is support of Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve aircraft engineering and test support at the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base as well as support for DoD Computer Network Defense efforts.
GTRI Tucson’s main customer in the region is the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center, and supports numerous Foreign Military Sales Efforts through Robins AFB in Ga., and Computer Network Defense Efforts through U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM).
GTRI Tucson is open to new opportunities to discuss teaming with technical organizations oriented toward applied research in the region, especially in areas of Border Protection, test and evaluation, sensor integration, electronic warfare, and computer network defense.
GTRI Tucson location offers several Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE) short course per year and is willing to work with organizations in the area that desire specific course offerings from the GTPE catalog to be offered locally, as well as willing to coordinate requests for private course offering in customer or our facilities.
