Trusted Interoperable Systems and Architecture

The Trusted Interoperable Systems and Architecture Division (TISAD) designs, develops, implements, integrates, and facilitates adoption of scalable trusted interoperable solutions and architectures based on open standards and modern software development best practices. TISAD has been a national leader in the definition and evolution of secure information sharing standards and architectures that span public safety, intelligence, military operations, and health domains. TISA is uniquely positioned to address the nation’s most critical information sharing and safeguarding needs thru transformation and modernization of legacy proprietary tightly-coupled monolithic systems and architectures to open API-driven solutions based on modern standards and best practices. TISA brings together the required expertise and experience across its four branches: Data Science and Information Interoperability; Software Engineering and Development Operations; Federated Identity, Privacy, and Trust Frameworks; and Secure Architecture and Cloud Infrastructure.
