GTRI’s Co-operative Education (“co-op”) program offers you extensive opportunities to participate in various scientific and technological endeavors, use state-of-the-art equipment and rapidly improve your technical and leadership skills. A GTRI co-op experience can escalate your future career success by giving you opportunities to make professional contacts and gain skills that make potential employers take notice. The program allows you to alternate semesters of full-time school with semesters of full-time work for GTRI.

Requirements

All co-ops must meet the following criteria:

  • Complete at least one semester with a declared major that supports a GTRI laboratory job description
  • Be in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Complete a co-op interview with a GTRI representative
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Due to the nature of the work at GTRI, most positions will require U.S. citizenship
